Hi all,

Does anyone know how to set up time varying SOD?

The idea is that setting up SOD = 0 after the time of dredging bottom sediment,

Hiroshi

Hi Hiroshi,

This can be done in the new wq model using an update boundary condition and the key DO_sedflux_max_rate.

Let me know if you need more information.

Oh, that's lovely. I did not that new wq model includes this function.
Could you kind send me some example files?
Cheers,

The round lake example in the download had an example of an update used for releasing a tracer.

In pre you need to add an update file like RoundLakeUpdate.dat which will set which columns you want to update the SOD for.

Then in run add in an update bc file like TracerRelease.dat but instead of updating TRACER_1 update  DO_sedflux_max_rate.

I haven't actually used this feature yet and it's really only available because of the better data storage setup in the new WQ model so let me know if you have any problems.

Thank you, Chris.
I got your explanation.
I will set up and report how it works.
