Update restart file

Hello all,

Is there a way to change the restart file?

I'm trying to run the model up to a certain time and then update the restart file with the measurement data like data assimilation.

Is there a way to change the unf file(restart) to a text file(restart) and change it to new unf file(restart) again?

HI, this isn't currently possible.

The only thing that is possible is to overwrite values with initial conditions after you load the restart file.  This can be done if irestart is set to 2. Then any initial condition files specified are loaded after the restart file is read.
