tracer set from middle of a simulation

Hi Chris,

Is there a way to set tracer at some specific domain from middle of the simulation?

I want to simulate how anoxic water below thermocline moves in summer (the simulation starts from January.)

Is there a way to set tracer concentration at specified bottom cells from the middle of the simulation without inflow?

I want to simulate how the released nutrients from the bottom move.

Hi Hiroshi,

You can use an update boundary condition for this.  See sections 2.5 and 7.7.4 in the manual.
